I sent a full at her request, nudged many months later, heard nothing. This was a MS that got more than two dozen requests, a lot of close calls. I say this so you know you may hear nothing. I tend to think if an agent requests a full, you deserve a reply, even if it's a form letter rejection. You might not get that. For some agents, no response means no. You might never hear back from her.

Dear [my name],
Many thanks for your query regarding [my book title]. Although this isn't quite right for my list, I have no doubt other agents will respond differently, and I wish you all the best as you continue your search for representation.

Hey, thanks, Taylor_Hobbs--that makes me feel better! My book is an 87,000 word crime/mystery. Best of luck to you, and thanks again!

Hey Machomer! Yes, I submitted a full in late July, nudged in October. Still haven't heard anything back yet! I think she really takes her time with manuscripts (she was an editor at Penguin for 15 years) and she only started agenting in 2015.
What was your book about, if you don't mind me asking? Mine is a 68k contemporary adult novel.

Greetings, Querytracker! Anyone else submit a manuscript last year but not heard anything back? I submitted one in the summer, but haven't heard anything yet, even after a nudge. Just curious--thanks. Have a good weekend!
