On their website, this agency posted "We work primarily with nonfiction writers, and are especially interested in projects in the following areas...", but their splash page says "Marilyn Allen and Coleen O'Shea focus on core nonfiction categories and featured fiction projects." So they are or are not taking fiction?

Very personable and encouraging when I met with her at a conference encouraging me to submit to her. When I did I received a one sentence form letter in response which was disappointing; no recognition that she'd expressed interest or even remembered me.

How long do you wait before nudging an agent who requested a proposal? Should I even bother asking (since a no-response is pretty much as good as a rejection, right)?
