Hello, and thank you for the opportunity to review your work. I'm afraid the project isn't a good fit for me, but I wish you all the best in finding representation elsewhere.

@Caitlinchristine thank you so much for your suggestion and sharing your own experience as well! I do feel that the updated version reads better and has more voice (and since most rejections I received had to do with voice) I definitely want her to read the edited version instead. Thank you once again! I will reach out to her and ask.

@KennyValentine- With the last MS I queried, I reached out to submit a new version a few months after she requested. She was very kind and said to go ahead and send it because she hadn’t read it yet. She is pretty slow on responding, it took about 3 months for my partial to turn into a full and then another 6 months for my full rejection. I doubt she has read it yet, so I would reach out if you feel the new version is better!

So, a week ago I received a partial request from her. I went through the first fifty pages to double-check for any errors and whatnot, then submitted them. The thing is, I ended up deciding to change the POV from third person to first person (which is kind of a big change). Should I reach out to her and ask if I can resubmit with the updated version since it hasn't been that long, and chances are she didn't start reading yet? Or should I just settle with what I submitted already? In her email, she said to only reach out to notify her of an offer of representation or to check on status if the time period exceeded 4 months. Can someone kindly offer advice?
