04/26/19: Sent message via QM form. I've decided to withdraw the few queries & fulls I had out for this MS to focus on my YA romance, but Kristy's personalized rejection for a past novel and enthusiasm regarding this MS prompted me to reconsider withdrawing her full. Instead, as unconventional as it may seem, I asked her if she's already started reading or if she's planning to soon, in which case I'd like to wait for her response. If she passes, I'm going to query her with the YA romance. I must have queried over 200 agents across 3 manuscripts at this point, and none of them has been as professional and considerate as Kristy. It would be incredible to work with her! :)
04/29/19: Kristy asked for more time to consider the adult romance, and also asked to see a query for the YA romance!

I'm a little bit surprised because Kristy previously read a full MS of mine and gave detailed and glowing feedback but ultimately decided it wasn't the right fit. She offered to read any future MS, and this one didn't even get a partial request. The rejection looked like a form response other than, "thanks for thinking of me again." Bummer.

(So I messed up, here. Accidentally re-queried her the same ms she rejected a year ago, 1/18. I have made major revisions, however, so I hope she will take another look even if she recognizes the title or it pops up in her Reject Files. Since the submission is by online Form only, with no email accepted, and it clearly states to send messages only regarding a withdrawal or notice of rep offer, I'll just have to wait and see.)
