Query 6/9.

Rejected 6/18: not form response, with clear reason why the manuscript isn't a fit for their business.

(This is much appreciated, and is being considered.)

Seconding StaceyTrombley here. Between some sketchy responses from the agency head to the TM incident, and other bad stories I've heard, I'm withdrawing my Q. Nothing against Kelly, but that's not an agency I feel comfortable working with.

She's had my partial for 5 months, no response to a nudge sent 2 months ago. Now her agency is pulling some weird crap with a TM for the word "Forever"? 1) it's ridiculous 2) her client seems to be disputing that she even authorized the filing of said Trade Mark. Whole thing is fishy.

Kelly seems nice, but I was already a bit hesitant about this agency so that pushed me over the edge to decide to withdraw my submission.

It took 63 days to get a rejection, but the letter was very nice. She said that she just wasn't connecting to the material as much as she wanted, and I have to respect that. I don't know if her response was something she crafted for me or sends out to everyone, but it wasn't as harsh as some can be. I'm glad I queried, even though I wasn't accepted.

Form Query: 11/9
PR: 1/3
ER: 4/24

Response explained why she didn't connect with the characters, though it sounds like she didn't read past the opening scenes. Fair enough.

@StaceyTrombley: Good to know there are others in the same boat. I don't mind if it's a no, but it's always difficult trying to read the entrails with these things.

Still waiting on a response on my partial sent 1/5 as well. Marissa Corvisiero (head of the agency) just followed me on twitter so I was almost wondering that that meant something. No word yet though haha

Form Query 1/26/2018
Rejection: 3/15/2018
From an intern who suggest more show than tell, though a majority of the letter seems like a form rejection
