Closing this one out after 53 days. She seems to take exception to her agency's submission response guidelines.

@SomeLady... I had to submit twice before getting a response. I only waited days after the two week deadline before submitting again. If you're sure she's the one, try try again. Good luck. :-)

I tried her twice as a result of having Uwe Stender suggest I query her and didn't hear back either time in spite of the whole "we respond within two weeks" thing.

EQ 09/11
ER 09/17 (form)
For those interested the letter said:

Thank you for querying me with SYMBIOTIC SLIP. I think you have an interesting story here, but I'm afraid I'm not connecting with it as much as I was hoping to, so I am going to pass.
Thank you again and I wish you the best of luck in your search for representation.

horrorchix89 - I resent after the 6 week mark. It took another 2 weeks or so for the rejection to arrive, a total of 66 days.

She seems to be the only one in the agency who ignores their own guidelines.

Waited 6 weeks, 3x the stated response time, before nudging. No response.

5/22/17 Full requested and sent
1/14/18 sent updated version from non-exclusive R&R for another agent

Have not heard anything from her since getting the full request (no confirmation of receipt or response to the full or updated full). It’s a bummer and kind of puzzling, since their agency explicitly promises such fast response times. I’m fine waiting a few months or whatever to hear back, but over a year seems insane! Closing this one out.

FYI I ended up sending her an email politely asking if she’d changed her policy on fulls to no response means no, but she didn’t reply. What a bummer! I wish agents would be clear in their submission guidelines if they don’t respond to fulls, because I wouldn’t then waste my time submitting to them.
