This was an odd one - nudged a couple of times as Alexis had shown interest in previous project. Sent the nudge from two different emails... finally heard that she never saw it. (Nice of her to respond).
Then she rejected today, said I was talented, but she didn't fall in love with it.

On 9/30/14, I queried Alexis with Chain Reaction. Today I've heard back with her with a R--not a right fit. Accidentally, I also queried Monika Woods with the same query last month and hope to hear back from her soon.

Today I've heard back from Alexis Hurley. It's a pass. Not a right fit. Back in 2011, she did give me a R. I'll try Allison Hunter next month with a requery.

7/13, I've queried her. Two weeks ago I nudged her. Today I'm closing it out as a no response. ON 10/31, she gave me a R. I'll try Allison Hunter next week.

Aren't people worried about their waiver? It says that you give Inkwell and/or their clients the right to use any of your work that is not legally protected. Technically, you can prove ownership of a work without a copyright but they seem to be trying to get around that with the language that you give them the right to use any of your work that is not "legally protected". I wouldn't have an issue if it was the more standard form in which you acknowledge that Inkwell and/or their clients might have indepenedently developed stories that are similar to yours. But in this case, if you haven't filed a copyright for your work you shouldn't submit here.

queried Alexis Hurley and received a partial request from Chelsea Combs. After several months she sent me a very nicely worded personal rejection.

MimiJean - I think the waiver is a bit much as well. Scratched them from my list.

Queried Feb '09. Partial request in March, followed by a request for the full manuscript two weeks later. Sent full April '09; attempted to follow up in August via email, but received no response. My original query was to Alexis Hurley, but all subsequent communication was with a Gaia Dempsey.
