Alex was such a delight to query. She gave incredibly thorough, thoughtful feedback on my pages, and said that while the manuscript had much she was looking for, the voice threw her a bit, and suggested it might be better suited to YA. Her commentary was constructive and helpful, and she welcomed me to query with another manuscript when I have one ready. I just wrote back to answer a few of her questions and see if she might be open to a R&R for this manuscript -- fingers crossed! I think anyone would be lucky to work with Alex. She clearly knows her stuff.

She just responded today (12/18) with a full request. She was apologetic for the wait, and states that her inbox has been out of control for the last few months.
