This is too weird. A CV? I had job interviews for good positions that didn't ask for that.

These people present themselves as brittle and inscrutable and I have no idea what to approach them with -- so I just sent them my standard query + first chapter on adult fiction. I'll post back in with results or lack thereof.

Doesn't take Sci-fi but is in Sci-fi agent searches

Also appears to be very rigid

Lyn Chu's may be a talented literary agent, but her response to my submitted novel was ignorant, insulting and discouraging.

they seem nice enough, but their website really needs work.
No agent bio, no specific submission instructions, no info about the company. almost a blog

"We generally will not consider science fiction or children’s or young adult fiction unless it aspires to serious literature."

That's an eyeroll and a do-not-query for me.

Website says send full ms. and CV, so I attached both to the query. AgentQuery says send query only, but I trust the info. on agency website as the best resource.

We'll see what happens...

Queried 1/27 received the workings of a form rejection 1/28. Telling me my 'subject matter wasn't right for their list.'

The reason I say workings is because my book involves people cloning Christ and killing that may be a personal letter...who knows.
