Talked to her on phone. Really great conversation. She's knowledgeable and passionate and although just getting into agenting (which was why I went another direction), she knows the business from the writer's perspective (she's a published author). If I didn't have my options I have (multiple offers), I would have felt comfortable accepting rep. I'd recommend (and I've been through this before & have dealt with a bunch of good agents).

Within a short time after I submitted the query, replied that it sounded wonderful and requested the full proposal. Never a word from her after that. Complete silence, even after I once emailed her to ask if she received the proposal. .Pretty rude.

Update: she got back to me a few hours after I did this comment! Nice, slightly personalized rejection telling me it was a sweet picturebook but she takes very few of these and it wasn't quite right for her. She seems very kind and I appreciate the extra words.
