Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

Oh dear. I emailed her at the old one this week.

10/24/12: 7/24, I emailed her and then nudged her two weeks ago. No response. Will retry her in 2013.

Is Erin accepting query letters? I wish I had the inside information. It's like a maze trying to navigate the terrain of querying agents and trying to find out if they are still in the business.

That's interesting. I might have to scratch her off the list.

Hmm. 6/19, I've sent her a query. Two weeks ago, I nudged her. Now it's officially closed/no response. Will try Yishai next month. A belated congrats Edelweiss!

Congrats, Edelweiss. I think Erin is handing off a lot of books she likes to Yishai. He's young, but seems to have a lot of energy and a bit of buzz. He has my manuscript right now. I write book reviews for The Nervous Breakdown and my editor there is Shya Scanlon (Forecast), his agent WAS Erin. She sounds like she's getting out of the agent business.

Snail query 3/25/2011
I'd closed it out long ago, so was floored when I received a request for pages today (5/18) from Yishai Seidman.

Talk about being raised from the dead. And it's not even a thriller.
