Amanda has had my full since the beginning of they year (Jan 15th), before she put a form query in place. I have tried nudging her, with no response. Any ideas on how to reach her?

July 05 update: a nice response from Amanda this morning to my message to her of June 29 ( I sent it to the original email address.)

Thanks, Patrick. Since she Is closed to queries, to re-query on Query Manager just so we can nudge re the initial email submission seems fraught with difficulties. She is on twitter. I am not. Does anyone tweet who might be willing to ask her about our situation? I think there are quite a few of us waiting on responses to fulls..

Website says to resubmit if you have not received a response to your query after 12 weeks. I tried to send a message via QueryManager, but that is only for withdrawing the query. So, I assume I must begin the process over again on QueryManager? Any thoughts on this?

Hi mbowman,
There is a way to nudge using QueryManager in some cases, but you would have had to send your initial query using QueryManager. Since you initially queried via email you won't have that option. But you could query again using QueryManager and mention that you queried via email and just say you thought you'd requery since she changed her policy. Best of luck.

Hi mbowman. I'm glad you've mentioned this because I sent her a nudge last night, using the email address from October. I've re-checked their website and it still says, under submission guidelines, to email the agent "directly" if you haven't heard back on a full in 6 months. The agents' individual emails haven't changed--they're now under "contact us" for editors etc. only. I know there's a way to nudge through querymanager, but if we didn't originally query through that portal I'm not sure how it would work. Maybe Patrick could guide us on that. Sigh.

So I submitted waaaaaaay back in October when she still used the email system, and I nudged through the email system in early june, and she still has not gotten back to me. Anyone have an updated email for her? I'm wondering if they closed the old email when they switched to querymanager.

A very thorough online form. I liked it a great deal. I felt I was really explaining my novel to this agent.
