LIZMAU91 hang in there. I've been keeping her busy the last couple of weeks, and on top of her own client work she does a lot of other things for the agency. I didn't hear anything from her from when she requested in November to when I got the notice in February that she was going to run it by Jill.

Congrats karareynolds!!! Way to go. That's awesome news.
I submitted my query to Silvia on 2/1/17.
On 2/10/17 I received a FR and sent it to her on the same day, but haven't received heard anything since then. I didn't realize it took so long for her to look at FR's. Maybe there's still hope for me that she liked it.

Hey everyone! I'm Silvia's newest client, and because the comments feature of QT has been so helpful to me over the past several years I thought I'd share my 2 cents for anyone who is considering querying Silvia.

I originally queried Jill Corcoran; at the time I compiled my to-query list for this book Silvia wasn't officially agenting. Silvia requested the full from Jill's slush on 11/15/16, and I sent it off that same day.
On 2/28/17 I got an email from Silvia saying that she loved the book and was going to run it by Jill if it was still available. I let her know that it was. Then, on 3/3, I got the official Offer of Rep email from Silvia. I talked to both her and Jill on the phone and loved them both. Jill told me that Silvia has been reading for her for over a year and she completely trusts her insights.
Silvia is an "editorial agent" at the agency, which means that she does all the work with getting a manuscript ready for submission. Jill then takes on selling the work. Silvia and I have been working on a revision plan for my book, and Jill was right: Silvia's insights are spot-on. I'm so glad she took a chance on me and my book.

EQ to Jill forwarded to Silvia: 1/18
FR: 1/27
2/2 Notified me (@3:45 am!) she read my manuscript and gave me many compliments, and is going to talk to Jill (!!!!!!)
2/23: R&R. Super helpful notes and feedback - Silvia is very kind and I would love to work with her one day! She told me exactly what worked for her and Jill and what didn't, and even gave me suggestions on how to fix these things. It seems that if you're planning on querying her, you'll have to get through both her AND Jill, since they work so closely together. Couldn't be more pleased with our interactions :)

Hi Patrick, you may want to update her genres. From web site: "Silvia is looking for Young Adult fiction of any kind, YA and MG fantasy as well as Adult romance with a twist, and Adult crime stories."

Thanks, Gambrill! I know that Jill and Silvia apparently work very closely together, so maybe Jill has to read the manuscript, too, before any decision is made...agh, I'm so nervous. Maybe she's just skipping around in the pile of fulls she has? Hmm...

Congrats Mander_Pander! Congrats! Sounds promising (though I did have a similar situation with a different agent and it ended in no. There was a specific marketing reason, though so I think your chances are still really good!)
But your timeline doesn't really help me, since she's had my full longer than yours but I haven't heard anything. What does that mean? ????

Hi Fireflie, Not sure but I'd give it more time. I sent an email regarding a full and haven't heard back. My guess? They're flooded at the moment.

EQ - 1/1

Do anyone know if they are a no response = no? I can see they've replied to people after me with both rejections and requests, not sure what to make of that :/
