Jennifer took the time to give me notes on my pages and also offered to read a revised version + any other ideas I have in the future. She is really warm and I am a bit sad that it didn't work out but anyone who works with her will be in great hands! (this all took place in August, only just made a querytracker account :) )

According to agency website, no response after 6 weeks means no interest. Gave it an extra week just in case, but I guess this one is a no-go, so I'm closing it out.

It was a lovely, surprising rejection in that I got one at all, and it was NOT a form, for a change! She was very engaging, warm, and kind. She passed on my project solely because she struggles with first person POV/introspective narratives. So, that's something to keep in mind with those who write first person and introspectively, that style is not for her, but she still had such lovely things to say (she even thought that my project could possibly make for a great screenplay). I have no idea how often she responds to queries, seems like she rarely does from what I can tell on QT, but if/when you do, be prepared to really get a nice feel of who she is as an agent, very sharp, respectful, and generous. Also not sure if she even has a form letter or not, but it was refreshing to get a rejection from an agent who actually sounded human and talked to you as an equal. I was very impressed, and I don't get impressed that easily by most agents and their rejections! ;)

Here's another one that is very active on Twitter and posts A LOT of #MSWL tweets but is hardly on top of her queries. I don't get it..

Well, it's been 45 days according to this excellent website, so I'm closing out. Deeply disappointed. It's horrid to get nothing but radio silence; I would far prefer a form letter.

Best of luck to those who still have queries out with Jennifer!

Personalized pass: 5/5. Very complimentary, but couldn't fully connect to the project. Jennifer seems SO hard-working and passionate about her job. Anyone would be lucky to work with her!

Website says if you do not hear from them in 6 weeks, then it's a pass.
