In my earlier comment, I wondered about resubmitting. Since then, I found a wonderful post written by the very agency I am considering.

Basically, it says if you've revised more than 20%, go ahead and try again, but remind the agent you've submitted before. It's a good read.

EQ 1-6-20 YA Fantasy, 82k
ER 1-10-20
She took the time to send a short, personalized reply which included "I gave this a good look, but I'm sorry to share that the premise of the story sounds too far on the high fantasy end of the fantasy spectrum to be a good fit for my list."
She also recommended another agent, who, unfortunately, already passed. Since I've done a major rewrite since then, I'm wondering if I should try resubmitting?

ER: 10/4 Kind, personalized rejection. Voice not quite her style, but recommended a couple of upcoming twitter pitch events.

She rejected because she has a Romantic Suspense already on her list. She IS looking for YA Rom Coms though! If you have one, I'd send it her way! I had the opportunity to chat with her shortly and she seems like a great agent! She referred me to Britt, too! :)
Good luck fellow query-ers!

84k YA Fantasy

It seemed to be a form rejection, but she seemed sweet and offers advice to look into twitter pitch contests, which I appreciate. I get the feeling YA fantasy isn't what she looking for in her list right now, and I can't blame her for that. Anyone who lands her would seriously be so lucky!!

She's had my full of my MG 55k for two weeks.
Notified her of offer 8/9/19
Reply: Step-aside. "Congratulations on your offer of representation! I am not at all surprised to hear this because the writing is so strong here and the premise is intriguing. I am going to bow out at this time, but I really appreciated you letting me know!"

Will keep an eye out for this book!

I like a quick turnaround, and I really appreciated her kind words in the rejection letter. Some helpful comments, which really helps dull the pain. :-)
