They recently posted: "2018 in Review-Multiple Metamorphosis Literary Agency authors have received thousands of dollars in advances through Metamorphosis' deals with prominent publishing houses. One of the most recent deals included illustrations from one of the top agencies. Many of the authors who signed with smaller houses received multiple offers. Many of their deals were negotiated to higher advances and/or royalties covering the agency commission. Many of the most recent deals with smaller houses included audiobook publication. Sub-rights are also co-agented with successful foreign and film agencies. Metamorphosis Literary Agency has made over 30 book deals and continues to grow.

Something to consider for anyone considering this agent (or anyone at the agency, for that matter):

This agency is made up mostly of writers who embarked into the agenting world. They all represent each other, and none of them have sales to any major houses (aside from eBooks). Their bios claim they represent bestselling authors, yet they list no specific names and none of my searches turn up any big-names they’ve represented. Many of their sales are to small presses that accept un-agented submissions—so deals a writer can get on their own without representation, and the client now has to cut the agent in 15% for the deal.

They’re nice people and I think they genuinely mean well, but they don’t have any pull within the publishing agency nor any connections at major publishing houses (from what I can tell). So think carefully about your publishing goals before submitting here or accepting an offer.

I withdrew my ms from this agency after doing some extensive online research. If you go onto their website, the first page consists of book covers that, one would presume, they've sold to publishing houses. However, if you click on a specific book, it brings you to a site with just the author's bio, nothing about the book or where it's available for purchase. It just leads you to a publisher's webpage. Some I clicked on said, "Page not found." Their website is very misleading. Also, the agents aren't traditionally trained.
