Thank you for your query. Your project sounds interesting, but for the time being, I'm focused right now on several projects that clients have recently completed and don't see a break, timewise, until the first of the year. Another agent has probably snapped you up by now. However, if you are still seeking representation in a couple months please drop me a line!

Best, Sally

ER 9/21/2012
Form (same as others/nonspecific but pleasant/optimistic) rejection
She was very quick to respond, and seems like she would have been great to work with.
(Mine had a significant historical (WWII) dimension, so that may have been part of her response...in August I noted web site saying she didn't rep "historical" fiction, so I almost didn't query. Just FYI).

Thank you for your query letter. This isn't right for me but thanks for thinking of my agency. I wish you the best of success!

EQ: 4/13; PARTIAL Request: 5/14; EJECTION 5/29.
Not sure if it's a helpful ER, but it was polite...she said something about not being pulled in. IMO, ya gotta read the work to be "pulled in." She's probably a speed reader/skimmer. My stuff doesn't work for that type of reader.
