EQ: 9/9/18 (PitMad request)
Full request: 9/20 (sent same day)
Nudge with offer: 9/26
Offer: 10/5

I ultimately accepted an offer from another agent, but Lynnette was hard to turn down. She has well over a decade of experience in freelance editing, which I imagine would make her a skilled editorial agent for her clients. She seems enthusiastic about the projects she chooses to represent and was easy to communicate with during the querying process. Really nice agent, committed to diverse projects and voices.

I don't know for certain about this specific agency, but in general, it's usually considered fine to submit to another agent if one says no. It's only wrong to submit to more than one agent at the same agency at the same time.

Does anyone know if you can sub to another agent here if one rejects?

"Thank you for the opportunity to review YOUR BOOK. You hooked me from the start—such a compelling beginning. You have a nice voice too.
Unfortunately, I didn’t connect with the story enough to offer representation. I wish I had better news. This is a subjective industry. Another agent might feel this MS is the perfect fit for his/her list."

I sent out a query on January 25, 2019. I will update this when I get a response. If I never update this then probably I never got a response.

She liked my IWSG pitch, but I'd already queried her with that MS, so I re-sent, wondering if it got lost or perhaps she wanted a second look or didn't realize she'd seen it before.

Update - she replied saying she didn't realize it was the same one. Still a pass for this one, but she included an invite to send her any future ms and was very nice.

Same story as below. She liked my PitMad pitch on Dec 6, I queried the same day, and heard back Jan 2. Pass but encouraging feedback.
84k Adult thriller.
