Danielle responded within the hour that she was sending my query over to Kerry, who is more interested in middle grade. The gesture is really appreciated as she could have just deleted for it being something she doesn't rep.

ER: 6/25/18, within an hour after I sent it, but suggested that I query another agent there, so that was much appreciated!

So she took out the word "braving" from her form rejection, lol. But still the same:

Thank you for querying. I’m sorry this isn’t a fit for me. D

I can't help but be critical, but form rejections like this make me glad it was a rejection. These "Sorry just not for me" 1-2 sentence forms come across as so unprofessional and lazy, tbh. Not a good reflection on them.

EQ: Aug 2, 2017 - sent to her LGR address, as others have done
ER: Aug 2, 2017 with the following note: "Thank you for braving this query. I’m sorry it’s not a fit for me."
I admit the word "braving" made me pause... :S

EQ:6/28/17 (Although the blog with the interview no longer exists, I used her personal email from the website & attached 50 pgs.)
She responded 2 hrs later to say it's not a fit for her, but she'll share with colleagues. Really nice of her :-)

6/22 -- She wrote me a personalized R saying it sounds promising but isn't for her so she's sharing it with colleagues, (seems to be something she's done a few times in the past, if you scroll through previous comments). Much appreciated!

According to the website, you can either submit by form or email. It says "If you don't wish to use this form, you can send your query by email to submit@lgrliterary.com. We ask that you do not attach more than 50 pages."

I am curious whether that is how others submitted, or if they went to her personal email, or if they used the form. I've already submitted (attached 47 pgs in a Word doc), but if the only people who hear back used some other address or did not attach a file, I'd like to know.

For those who queried her using her personal address... Did you just send a query letter without sample like in the form?
