@_R_Y_A_N_ yup same here! I thought I would get something more specific, especially after waiting 261 days. But seeing she's just sending generic form responses; I am very disappointed. And the wording of it I also agree is a bit insulting, no I haven't moved on. Luckily, I've queried other people since then and have started writing a 2nd book, which I will not be querying Ann again as I feel she hasn't handled this professionally at all.

@_R_Y_A_N_ yes, I just got the same rejection this morning. Normally, I don't let query rejections get to me but I'm not happy. No, I haven't moved on and no, I haven't found the "perfect champion." 205 days of waiting because Ann reassured me when I nudged her that I was in her maybe pile. Just gonna start CNR'ing after 121 days, not worth it.

There is so much to admire here, but I've had this for so long and it's not fair to you to hold onto it any longer.
