Firstly, thank you very much for sending your work for Cathryn's consideration and huge huge apologies for the delay in getting back to you. While we enjoyed reading X it’s a very moving memoir and you write with thought and tenderness – I’m afraid Cathryn is incredibly busy with her current list and she is being very selective about what she takes on. In this case, I’m afraid she doesn’t feel she has the capacity to take this on. The memoir market is tough at the moment and she’s worried she doesn’t have the vision to really champion your story.
