On 2/8/16, I've requeried Stephanie Abou with Venom. Today I've heard back from her on my nudge--interesting story and premise, not right fit at this time. I'll try her with Chain Reaction this spring.

Though she is closed to queries I sent her a note. A while ago, she read my mss and wrote me a page-and-a-half letter full of positive comments and suggestions for improvement. She asked me to revise and resubmit, but when I did she grew too busy to read it. Still, she continued to express interest. Eventually I withdrew the mss so I could start to submit elsewhere, but she told me her "door" was always open. I doubt she'll give my book consideration at this juncture but as I've made my final revisions (a few revisions after my r&r to her) and I'm now submitting queries for real (not crawling back into a hole, no matter how much it hurts!!) I figure it's worth a shot to ask.

I'm pretty sure that's new -- at least within the last couple weeks. Queried her on the May 9th and didn't notice it.

Hmm, her "about agent" page on the Foundry website says she is not accepting unsolicited material at this time.
