If we're being honest I considered this query as closed, no response because the agency's two-week response window passed, and because I needed to move on for my own mental health. It's brutal out here. :)

After almost a year, closing this and marking it a no response to a full request. Didn't respond to nudges either. Ghosting on a full manuscript is unfortunate.

Met Amy at the NYC Pitch Conference. She requested a query and the first 5 pages.

Sent a query when Amy first started agenting in 2019. She asked for the full within a day and was sooo enthusiastic and thoughtful. Said she LOVED my writing. Though she ultimately passed, she gave me feedback and said she'd love to see a R and R as well as any other work because she loved my writing. I revised my novel line by line incorporating her changes and other reader feedback and send it to her in April 2021 citing her request to see a rewrite and more of my work. Ghosted. Not even a query reply. Sent nudge reminding her she asked to see a rewrite....no response or acknowledgment. Crickets. Very disappointed by this. I thought I would at least merit a query rejection....But I see on Twitter she's happily announcing new clients, but it hurts when I see these happy announcements. Just saying....

The agency site says to assume rejection if you haven't heard anything within two weeks, so I'm going to go ahead and close this out.

skifast, those email tracking systems are only about 50% effective (and getting less effective every day) so I wouldn’t rely on them too heavily.

Sent a nudge in February and then again in March, no response
Notification of offer: may 19th
Step-aside: May 20th
I don't think she ever actually read my MS. I have an email tracking service, and so I can see that she never opened the email with my submission until the day I emailed her about my offer. I would not recommend querying this agent. Very unprofessional.

@atyrrell thanks for letting me know. Maybe I will try Twitter. It's pretty appalling that you had to go to such lengths to get an answer.

@Skifast this agent finally came back with a rejection a couple of days after I reached out on Twitter. She thanked me for my patience, said she was intrigued by the initial premise but had to pass on it. There was no feedback.
