Jana requested a different ms of mine last year and ultimately passed with kind, uplifting feedback. She seems like a delight to work with, so fingers crossed that she falls in love with this story! :)

Paused Query: 10/7/20 - sent message asking if I should withdraw and resubmit because I am consulting an editor and will be substantial reworking my project. Response - Thank you for letting me know! Why don't you withdraw this query and requery when you're ready. Good luck!

7/13/20 - Twitter update: A quick query update: I have responded to all QueryManager queries through July 9th.

I still have a few I'm holding over to read again.

I just checked QueryManager and mine is still listed as having no decision. Perhaps She's still holding onto mine. I'll keep it open a bit longer.

I've queried Ms. Hanson with two manuscripts. Both times she responded within 10 days with very kind and specific reasons for why she decided to pass.

Unfortunately, we were directly in the path of Hurricane Sally, so we are still without internet/wifi. We let her know the situation with our technological issues, and she was very understanding. Will update this when I'm able to send out fulls again.

8/13/20 Tweets - I am also going to be CLOSING to queries beginning August 14th evening for about five weeks or so.

School starts soon, and I feel like I need some extra time to get into the swing of things, especially with virtual learning, which we didn't have in March.

Query update: I have responded to all queries through August 12th.

I still have a few maybes I'm holding on to (the MAYBES, you guys -- always a difficult decision).

The Metamorphosis website says the following, which doesn't match the list of genres here.
She is seeking: romance (any pairing, any subgenre), YA, middle grade, historical fiction, cozy mysteries, women's fiction, suspense, and thrillers.

Does anybody here know if this is a legitimate agency? The sales listed on the web site are mostly to low-level publishers, and these publishers accept submissions directly from an agent isn't even needed, unless you just want someone to take a cut of your royalties. Some of the agents have written books that have been published by these same "publishers," and the agents represent each other, which is odd. Also, agents generally have experience working at major publishing houses or at established literary agencies, but it doesn't seem that any of the agents at this agency do. I'm confused. Does anyone have experience or information to share? For example, if you signed with the agency, did your agent sell your book, and to which publisher? Further, if you look up the agency on Absolute Write, the comments are not positive.
