Hrm, thanks JJProbe. This brings up an interesting dilemma. I sent a query over 7 weeks ago when it was the email system, and they said it could take 90 days for a reply. So those of us in this boat do we wait or resend via QM?

They just switched over 'cause on the 20th it still said by email.

EQ: 9/20/16
Got an email back on 9/22/16 which said the agency had switched over to Query Manager and if I still wanted to query them, I needed to resubmit that way. Of course, the QM page wanted different information in a completely different format. I try very hard to comply with every different agent's different requirements, and had done that with the email version, and it would have been helpful if they accepted the inputs they'd already received, like some other agents have. But I resubmitted that day and got an email from QM the next day with a form letter rejection. At least they've updated the submissions section of their web site to reflect the new requirements.

The info in the AAR (Association of Authors' Representatives) directory can occasionally be outdated, so I tend to follow what's on the agency website or their Twitter account. I have no idea how often an agent updates their AAR profile, but it's safe to assume their agency website is current.

I don't know what an AAR page is, but the agency website submission page say she is accepting queries, email only.
"At this time the Nancy Yost Literary Agency only accepts queries by email." And on her profile page is a query email link.

Hi Patrick,

I tried again with two different email addresses and still the MAILER-DAEMON message came up for Nancy again both times. So I tried querying Natanya at her agency instead and it went through fine. I think it just might be a tech issue with Nancy's Inbox. I see below in this thread of comments others have had a similar issue with querying Nancy.
