Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

I was pleased with how quickly Mary Sue Seymour responded, first to my query and then to my partial. She requested a full, which I sent. She sent back edits, and I returned the revised ms in early November. She emailed in mid-January to let me know she was ready to read it, and then offered representation a week later.

Sent Mary Sue my first 50 back in August. She requested it again in late September. And corrections after that. Then just a few days ago she requested a full and exclusive. I really like what I hear about her. Hope it will be good news.

11/30/13 I received my letter from Mary Sue stating that she didn't think my manuscript had what she had thought it did (I sent it to Nicole, MS intercepted it), but she wants me to send it to Nicole because she said she would want! UGH!!! So I sent it to Nicole per Mary Sue's instructions. That's why I sent it to Nicole, it was her genre, not Mary Sue's. Good Grief! Hope she finally gets to see it. heehee
