Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

This Friday, 4/1/16,I've queried Farley with Chain Reaction's requery. Over the weekend, I've heard back from him with same rejection as Venom's--interesting story, liked the approach, not convinced to take it on.

A 24 hours response. This tells me Mr. Farley is on top of his submissions and is a gentleman.
Even if it's the same form letter:
"Many thanks for writing. You have an interesting story to tell and there's a lot to like about your approach. But in the end I'm afraid I didn't come away quite fully convinced this was something I think I'd be able to represent successfully. I'm sorry not to be more enthusiastic but thanks nonetheless for giving me a chance to review it and best of luck in finding it the right home."

I requeried Farley yesterday and heard back from him today--interesting story, liked my approach, not convinced to take it on. I'll try him this spring with Chain Reaction. Congrats Sevenrain!
