EQ: Aug 3
ER: Aug 30, form

Due to the enormous number of submissions we receive here at Writers House, and an already crowded client list, we are forced to be extremely selective when considering new clients. Please remember that this is only one opinion in a highly subjective business and another agency may feel differently.

@LillySantiago Did you give her your full on an exclusive basis? She didn't mention exclusivity when she asked for mine... but I saw in some of the other comments that she often does.

I'm starting to wonder if she's forgotten about mine... or didn't get it in the first place. :-(

SO just got my rejection today but it was unlike any rejection I've ever received. It was glowing with compliments and praise but had a few pointers and comments that ultimately, caused Genevieve and Amy to reject the novel. I'm not at all throttled and I hope that once I make revisions I can re-query. Anyone that has the pleasure of corresponding with Genevieve is very lucky. She is SO sweet and this has been my best experience thus far.

ER: 7/11/17 very informative, ultimately felt the pace and tone didn't match the character and story. Oh well...

debbie_rosenberg58 ... I placed my synopsis in the body of the email and below the query.

Question: This is in the submission section of the Writer's House website: "Please e-mail us a query letter, which includes your credentials, an explanation of what makes your book unique and special, and a synopsis."
Does this mean the query letter should contain the mini synopsis as usual, or a synopsis following the query letter? I'm leaning toward the traditional query but would appreciate the input of anyone who has queried. Thanks!
