12/17/17 Request for first 100 pages came from Genevieve, who I assume is her assistant. Fingers crossed! Writers House is the dream agency! :)
12/20/17 Rejection This sucks right before Xmas, but better to rip the Band-Aid, I guess. She made a note about my mythology not being smooth, which is funny, because I received a full request from another agent because said agent said she enjoyed my world building. It just goes to show you that this really is a subjective business. My story has a very specific narrative structure that isn't obvious until a little later, but it is what it is, I guess.

I queried around the same time, spirit_queen24, and I haven't heard either, so I wouldn't worry too much yet. Good to know someone is in the same boat!

spirit_queen24, according to their website, queries should be sent to Amy’s email address as shown on the “Main” tab here.

Hello Debbie!
Sorry it took me so long to reply to you, I have been sick pretty much the whole month of October. I had another agent looking at my manuscript at the time Genevieve and Amy were, I mentioned it to her and I do not think it mattered since there was only one other. I hope this helps you Debbie and best of luck!

Whitney, are other agents considering your manuscript? I waited to query this agency to see how my queries went. Turns out I received several full requests. I would love to query, but they prefer exclusivity. If other agents are considering your work, how did you respond?

EQ: Aug 3
ER: Aug 30, form

Due to the enormous number of submissions we receive here at Writers House, and an already crowded client list, we are forced to be extremely selective when considering new clients. Please remember that this is only one opinion in a highly subjective business and another agency may feel differently.

@LillySantiago Did you give her your full on an exclusive basis? She didn't mention exclusivity when she asked for mine... but I saw in some of the other comments that she often does.

I'm starting to wonder if she's forgotten about mine... or didn't get it in the first place. :-(
