Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

"Upon reviewing the remainder of your manuscript, we have decided to pass on your submission. With this in mind, we greatly appreciate that you chose to submit your work to Foundry, and wish you luck in your road towards publication,
Thanks again,
PM Submissnions"

Interesting that as picky as some agents get about having their names spelled right, that this agency (probably an intern) misspelled my name in different ways on both the initial request for more and the rejection. That said, is it nicer to get a rejection with your name spelled right? LOL

Personal rejection letter at least, he found my story intriguing but just not right for him. Super bummer.
