Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Requeried Venom with old address. Will remember new address, if it comes back. Maybe something changed since then. It's been over a year since I queried her.

10/8/12: Since old address came back as RTS, I'm requerying Venom with the new address. 10/30/12--return to sender, not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward. She's scratched for now.

The address from Agent Query came back as well. I tried calling the number listed and its disconnected. When you google her, you can find an email address but that's no good either.

This is what's listed on Agent Query. They have 23rd Street as an old address.

I just received my snail query back in the mail. Anyone have an updated address?

Thanks Harmony. I haven't heard back from her lately on my query--response time ends next week. I'll nudge her soon.

10/7: 6/16--I've queried her for Chain Reaction. Two weeks ago, I nudged her. No response/closed as of now.

There is a website http://www.thedamarisrowlandagency.com/index.php/home and a contact form.

She seems to have a very interesting business model that could accommodate people who want to have self-publishing as a back-up plan.

Kennerson94, The address they say is old (at the bottom of their page) is not the same address listed here. As far as I'm aware this address is the most current. The Peter Cooper Road address is old. See my comment below for Jan 27, 2010.

Thanks Oreo. I've waited and inquired and got zip. Oh well.

Maybe. I waited three months to hear from her via mail. Nothing. I sent her a follow-up last month. Nothing. I take it as a NR. There's only a few instances I do hear from agents, after the 2-week deadline for my follow-ups, when it goes from NR to R.

Well, at least she's still in the publishing business. A yes or no response would've been great on my partial, or to my follow-up. Hmm.

FWIW: Another way to see if she's selling books is to click on her client's tab above. She appears to be selling her clients' romance novels on a regular basis. Example: Summer at Seaside Cove (Berkley Sensation) [Paperback] Jacquie D'Alessandro, pub date May, 2011. That's just one example. Apparently some sources are a bit dated. This is yet another way of checking on sales. She appears to be heavy romance.

That's true Oreo. I just hope with my revamped queries, I'll get more bites now for both Venom and Chain Reaction. I'm all out of partials.

Thanks Oreo. I guess you're right. I believe I remember, that one member at AW said, that she hasn't had a sale in a few years, according to her PM page.
