Same here. 177 days, formal rejection on full MS, no personalized comments, and a podcast plug. Incredibly unprofessional.

"Dear Joe,
Thank you for querying me with THE STATE OF DENMARK.
I sincerely appreciate you considering me for representation, but I'm just not feeling that crucial spark necessary for me to move forward on this manuscript. I sincerely wish you the best on all your publishing endeavors and hope you'll consider me in the future.
To support writers who I can't personally represent, I host a podcast called Way-Word Writers where editors, authors, and industry professionals share their expertise, experiences, and information all about the various aspects of publishing. If you're interested, you can find it on all major podcast platforms or at way-wordwriters.com.
All my best,
Heather"

FR with a plug about her own podcast. Disappointing and tacky for a literary agent!
@NightSky - the unethical bit is that she’s tagging this information specifically in her form rejections to people who have queried her. It’s implying if we go and subscribe to her podcast, we’ll learn her secrets and have ‘better luck next time’. Whether or not that’s true, it’s not appropriate to put it in business communications.

@reneeppm I too didn't feel the plug for her podcast was appropriate. There is a time and place to promote one's projects and a rejection letter, in my humble querying opinion, is not the place.

I didn't think her plug about her podcast was tacky or unethical. After reading the comments below I went online and checkout her website and listened to clips from her podcast. It's just free advice from her and others, agents, writers, editors in the industry.
