Leslie started reading my submissions in 2005. To all except one book, she requested the first chapters. A few she read the re-drafts too. She always read quickly and replied with great feedback. My last book, historical fiction with magical realism, was the one she liked. After a report from her, I did a full re-write. I signed a contract on January 11th. It's in submission now.
