I have to agree with another commenter about the unusually fast response time. She replied with a form rejection approximately 20 minutes after I submitted. I had spent considerable time preparing everything requested, so the speed of the response left me uncertain about how much of the submission was reviewed. I understand that publishing professionals receive a high volume of work, but I wanted to share the timeline for other writers considering submitting.
