This agent is currently closed to queries but I was fortunate enough to meet her at a recent conference. She listened to my pitch, expressed herself with a light heart and, happily for me, requested material. I sent it and got confirmation of receipt and an idea of when to expect to hear from her again, all within a couple of days.

Said my writing, story and voice was terrific, but it was too dark for her list at this time.
