@MrPinot @saranade Also the same experience. Pitched at StokerCon where she was incredibly enthusiastic about my manuscript. Sent it 6/1. Sent a nudge 10/8. No response to either.
She hasn't responded to any of the writers I met at the con who got a full from the pitch.

''I'm so sorry to say, but I am going to pass on this project. It's not a reflection of you, this simply isn't a good fit for my list at this time. I try to include feedback where it's helpful and it's up to you as the author to decide if you'd like to consider it. Here's my feedback: I think you're a strong writer. Because it's fantasy, before continuing to send out, I would add in more setting/worldbuilding with the fantasy. I'd also take out the narrator direct statement to the reader at the beginning and just begin right into the narrative."
