I was wondering what would happen to queries like mine that were sent shortly before Sile (presumably) left the agency, and for anyone else wondering - looks like the agency will still respond.

EQ: 24 July 2022
Form rejection: 8 August.

'Many thanks for sending us your submission, which we read with interest. I’m afraid to say, however, that it won’t be a project we’ll be pursuing. Our business is subjective by nature and another agency may well feel differently – we wish you all the best!'

ER 3/8/21, friendly but impersonal, with a typo that held out hope:
Thank you for sending in your work for my consideration, and for your patience in awaiting a response. HER OWN DEVICES was right for my list and will therefore not be making you an offer of representation.
I'm sorry not to offer more positive news, but do remember that this is a subjective business and another agent may feel differently.
Good luck, and thank you again for the opportunity to read your work.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query, and review the agent's website(s) for more up-to-date information.

Though we do our best, QueryTracker can not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided.

An agent listing on QueryTracker is not an endorsement or recommendation of that agent by QueryTracker.

Before contacting an agent, authors should verify and assess the agent's requirements and suitability by visiting the agent's website(s), and becoming familiar with ways to spot and avoid bad agents. A good place to start is Writers Beware, a watch group that helps inform and protect authors from shady practices.
