I emailed her directly regarding a project that I wasn't 100% sure would be in her wheelhouse (and I wanted to be respectful of that). After explaining she tended to be picky about the subgenre in question, invited me to go ahead and query. She responded was super friendly and polite.

@Patrick, Website states she's closed. PLUS, she is only taking queries from underrepresented (BIPOC) authors. What's happening to this industry?
