Personalized rejection 1/27/24

"Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to consider TITLE. There is a lot to love here, a strong voice and interesting premise, but unfortunately, I'm afraid it just isn't quite a fit for my list at this time. Though this was a really tough decision to make!

Please remember, a "no" is simply a "not yet." I see a lot of promise in your writing, and I hope you continue writing and revising. If you'd like to submit a new project, I welcome the opportunity to review it. The door is always open!

Unfortunately, publishing is a business that necessarily involves a lot of rejection, at every stage. One of the most difficult things for us as agents is to have to say no. Please do try to keep this one "no" in perspective. This is a highly subjective business, and another agent may adore TITLE. I wish you success in finding your "Yes."

Danny B., thank you for thinking of me and giving me this opportunity to consider your work."
