UPDATE: 10/10/26 I'm so sorry I never updated this! Just so people know after a few months went by last year I sent a follow up email asking how long I should expect to hear back with a no rush note, just to set my expectation. She responded about a week later that she felt so bad but my manuscript had fallen through the cracks but she didn't love the other ones the way she loved the first. She encouraged me to continue to submit new ones, which I have but I never hear back - which is so weird because she chats with me on IG. I didn't ask again because either she's really busy or just not interested.

Regardless, I really like her as a person and would be thrilled for anyone who lands her as an agent!

I was so happy to see your post. I had a critique with her- at the end she told me she loved my story and requested 3-5 more PBs (which is what mine are). That was about 7weeks ago in Aug, so if you are July—I guess I have even more waiting to do. I was thinking because she requested more and said she loved that one it may have been a faster reply-but she has a lot going on. Besides being a full-time teacher she has some pretty successful clients that I’m sure already keep her busy.
I keep saying,”no news is good news with requested materials!” She definitely isn’t the type of person who just doesn’t reply if not interested!

She requested my full manuscript from a pitch contest and sent me a form rejection a few days later. Very disappointing, as I would have expected something a little more personalized.
