Four days after announcing she was open to queries, she posted that it was a mistake and only for conference participants. So I CNR'd it, and four months later received the "spark" form rejection which also includes "For whatever reason, I just didn't connect with this as much as I would have liked to"

Hi all,
This is Susan. Apologies for the confusion. I recently attended a writer's conference and for ease of taking pitch requests, I opened my Query Manager again and didn't use the conference form that QM has.
I have now updated my agent's page to clarify that I am ONLY taking requests from people I met with at the conference. I am not officially open for queries again and I'm sorry to not have an ETA on when I will be. As part of my position, I manage our agency's subsidiary rights so my plate is very full at the moment and I want to be able to give queries my full attention when I can provide it. Thank you all for your interest here and apologies again for the confusion.
