Based on his previous year's data, which showed that he rarely replied to queries, and considering that he had made manuscript requests for queries before and after mine (the requests made on 08/05/25 and 09/24/25), I decided to consider this a silent rejection. Although the company's site states that they generally respond to queries within 6-8 weeks, this agent rarely responds at all.
