Lovely personalised (!) rejection letter saying that while she quite enjoyed the beginning and thinks I have a way of pulling the reader in, ultimately she's not entirely sure of the somewhat two-dimensional dialogue and the storyline so she's passing.

Call and offer: 16 March.
I accepted right away, without the usual practice of nudging the 3 other agents who had my Full.
Why? Because the very thought of asking Naomi to wait while I nudged other agents bothered me. What was I expecting from the others that I was not getting from Naomi? What could they possibly offer me that Naomi can't?
That's when I realised that I had found my Dream Agent. Naomi loved my work and was professional throughout the call and on emails before that. Plus warm and kind. I was convinced that she was The One.
When I emailed two agents the next day to withdraw my submission (the third had rejected my full in the mean time), one of the agents was curious and asked if I knew about the normal practice to give other agents a chance to respond. She also said that this happens but usually with a dream agent or if the writer does not have a full ms with other agents. I thought it was quite presumptuous of this agent, and also what is a dream agent, really? So I said Naomi is my dream agent. This other agent emailed me a photo of a bouquet of flowers.
