First, I want to apologize for my incredibly delayed response. I will be honest, I am unfortunately leaving agenting and so the past few months queries fell to the wayside, queries that absolutely should have received a response.
Of course, as I am leaving agenting I will not be able to consider your manuscript. Please feel free to submit to any of my fantastic colleagues at Howland instead. I am wishing you the best of luck in your querying process and hope you find (or have already found!) a wonderful agent.

@ShouldIJustPaintInstead - no idea. No response to my nudge. I have been watching this for quite some time - going on 118 days right now. Nada.

Does anyone know if she’s still active? Looks like she hasn’t responded to a single query since August.

"Thank you so much for sending me your query. I really appreciate the opportunity to consider your work.
This is such a fun concept and I love the humor and heart within these pages. Unfortunately, I’m afraid I didn't quite connect with the writing style in the way I hoped. Please remember the publishing industry is subjective, and what doesn't work for me might be just what another agent is looking for.
I am wishing you the very best of luck with your writing and in securing representation elsewhere.
Warmly,
Victoria Dillman"

Same letter as below. Disappointing, as she can hardly find all submissions interesting. Am I the only one who feels trivialized by that style of template?

Her rejection was similar to others below where she embeds a sentence of personalization where she says one or two positive things (she thought my novel concept was "lovely" and that my characters are "fantastic") but then gives a generic reason for passing ("couldn't connect to the writing as I hoped") and the rest is a form.
