Her tweet “Hi y'all, I didn't plan on making this announcement today but I'm fielding a lot of questions (and I will have so much to say about this later including lots of REAL LOVE for the people I've worked with) but I am leaving agenting at the end of 2022.”
My heart goes out to her clients who have to start the new year querying again. Her reasons for leaving are valid though, and that’s why writer’s should be tentative when signing with newer agents... If they aren’t able to make substantial sales soon and their agency doesn’t pay them a salary, they might leave agenting for a more sustainable job
