Form Rejection after 247 days! I had long since CNR this. But it's nice to get some response/closure after all.

Never give up hope.

My book is a 135,000-word Epic Science Fiction novel.

Update as of 10/12/23: Today I received an extremely detailed and thoughtful pass letter from Laura. She actually wrote me the longest letter ever sent to me by an agent. She had a lot of very kind words about my book and loved certain aspects of it, but it's a bit "out there" and set in an alien world, and it seemed like she didn't fully connect with the setting. So she passed on the full after holding onto it for almost exactly six months. I had a lot of hope for this one, but I appreciate her honest and upfront nature very much. Her sincerity in why she did not connect leaves me with a feeling of completeness that most rejection letters don't give.
