If I read the QM statement correctly, it says that she is only open to non fiction right now but she'll be open to the rest in January.

Rejection after 714 days. This agent said she'd reply to all queries, and she did.
Dear xx,
I hope this message finds you well. Please accept my most sincere apologies for not getting back to you on your submission until now. Because I know what it's like to not hear back from agents, when I first began agenting, I made a promise to get back to every single person who queried me, but I quickly became snowed under with an inundation of queries and submissions for pitches that intrigued me, and I understood why most agents can't and don't promise to get back to everyone. There simply isn't enough time. Reading and responding to queries, which is 100% unpaid time, unfortunately falls to the bottom of the priority list, since our first priority must be our current clients. I had to close my query inbox for quite some time (it remains closed today) as I just couldn't keep up! A bittersweet problem to have, really. I'm determined to have a clear inbox before the end of the year, so I'm replying now, even though it's been an unconscionably long time.
That said, I recognize that none of that is your concern, but wanted to let you know that my lack of response is not personal against you or your work. In the end, I did find that the story wasn't a good fit for me. Regardless, I should have gotten back to you sooner. I do hope that you were able to find a home for _________!
Warmly,
Kathleen (Kat)

Met her at a conference in August 2024. She is lovely, and I was so hopeful when she requested my first 50 pages. It's almost a year later and have not heard a word. : 0 (
