MLBesold - I did preface it with saying “this is going to sound crazy” because I’m totally aware of how bonkers that decision was, lol! But yes, my querying journey absolutely could’ve ended in a “no” months down the road, and I just wasn’t willing to wait longer!
I should’ve clarified that I’ve been gearing up to self-pub on my socials for a while now, and I’ve got an excited audience, so I’m pretty ready. Along with financially able to do so. So it wasn’t a decision I took lightly or on a whim! I’ve been considering this plan since Bethany looped back in September.
Good luck everyone!!! <3333 Hope to see you and your books out there!

Elizabeth's withdraw just blew me away. I am so shocked.
What an opportunity she had here and one we all would give a right arm to get (coming from a lefty... LOL). Although, considering the amount of time that goes into all this, it could have ended with Bethany saying 'no', which would have been heart breaking.
I equate this to grocery shopping . . .
You enthusiastically go down the aisles, look at the items and pick up those that interest you, placing them in your cart.
Finally, when you're finished making your selections, you go to the checkout line.
Now the waiting begins . . .
I'd venture to say, we all hate this part.
But it doesn't end here . . .
We still need to drive home, bring everything in and put it all away.
This takes time. And as much as we don't want to put away the groceries, we do it.
The moral to this story is . . .
If you are serious about working with a professional, this is the process, like it or not.
Good luck Elizabeth, and to everyone else, hang in there. ;-)
