I met and spoke with Andie at a writing conference, having an amazing experience picking her brain. She seemed like an amazing person and an agent. I was allowed to submit to her via conference link, but sadly, she rejected me a month and a half later. The rejection is understandable, but I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed by the standardized and unspecific form rejection citing a stereotypical, wrongful "fit." All I wanted was one clear reason after taking the time to talk with her in person. She still seems like a good agent and person, and I know she's had a lot of submissions. I would recommend her, but I did want to write about my unfortunate experience. Good luck, anyone who's reading this.
