July 7/26: I haven't had a response from Morgan yet, but I remain hopeful! I have five full requests out at the moment and haven't heard back from any, so I'm choosing to take this as a sign that times are slow rather than a collective disappointment in my writing lol. At least in that liminal space between querying and rejection, hope can remain! Good luck out there, everyone!
July 8/26: I ended up nudging since it had been quite awhile, and Morgan sent a reply same day apologizing for the delay and giving a kind pass. They offered some personal feedback that I appreciate very much. I'm bummed this didn't work out and having a small existential crisis, but would definitely query them again in the future!
