R 7/5/2024 - Very kind and seemingly personalized rejection over a too high word count, but offered to look again if I could split the story in self-sufficient parts.
Q 6.6.2024 - New query after reworking the first 65k as suggested.
R 18.7.2024 - Plain rejection that reads like form.
The opening pages have barely changed, if at all. Could have told me they didn't like it from the start and saved me the trouble. I'm left wondering if I even got the replies from the same person.
