@TheodoreHomuth, I'm sure he's an awesome agent for some people, don't get me wrong. I think some people just wish he would be more transparent on not accepting self-pub queries.
Although I will say these negative comments and habit of rejecting on not-yet-submitted fulls is kinda annoying. I wonder if he has an email anywhere so it's possible to ask if it was a mistake, but oh well.

Still waiting as I’ve read his blogs and his website. His philosophy on being the champion for his authors appeals to me and the fact he’s on point with his responses shows he’s not going to waste anyone’s time.
I’ve read through these comments about self published. But an agent, from my understanding, is who finds us the best possible deal in publication and publishers want exclusivity. So, if you’ve published your novel somewhere else, you’ve tied their hands and it’s reasonable to assume they wouldn’t be interested. Only interest they would have is in unpublished works.

Agent does not accept queries from self published authors. Sure would be nice if he was courteous enough to mention that BEFORE subjecting a prospective author to creating a full query. Other agents list this limitation on both their websites and at the top of Querytracker. Thank You

Always verify agent's information before sending your query, and review the agent's website(s) for more up-to-date information.

An agent listing on QueryTracker is not an endorsement or recommendation of that agent by QueryTracker.
Before contacting an agent, authors should verify and assess the agent's requirements and suitability by visiting the agent's website(s), and becoming familiar with ways to spot and avoid bad agents. A good place to start is Writers Beware, a watch group that helps inform and protect authors from shady practices.
Agents represent an author to approach publishers to take on your book. Publishers want to be the only one to have your book. If your book is published you took away an agents job and they won't want it.
Authors should research this so they know not to query for books that are published already.
